A few months ago a friend mentioned that the Census Bureau was hiring people to prepare for the census next year. So I looked on the website
here , applied to take the test and lo and behold, I was
HIRED!
It's very cool. I get to swear an oath and even get fingerprinted.
Then there are four days of training in April.
I get to wear a badge! I mean, really.
